My older coop was always a worry, but the mesh openings on this wire are small enough that I finally feel at ease letting the chickens free-range in their run. Installation was straightforward and it seems sturdy so far.
We lost two hens to foxes last spring, so I was nervous trying this wire, but it fit our hutch without any cutting. The gauge feels sturdy enough that I'm not worried about anything pushing through it now.
I've had this wire up for about a month now, and it's sturdy enough to handle the foxes that keep sniffing around the coop. The fit on our standard hutch was almost perfect, though I had to trim a tiny bit off one edge. Still, it gives me peace of mind knowing the birds are safe.
