Quick answer
If you want a full warranty and pristine condition, choose the new Cocoon Farm House. If saving money matters more and you're comfortable with possible cosmetic flaws, the ex-display version is a solid choice.
What's the difference?
The Cocoon Farm House (new) and the Cocoon Farm House (ex-display) are the same coop model, designed for larger flocks of 12–15 birds. The ex-display unit has been used in a showroom or display setting, so it may have minor cosmetic wear but is fully functional. The new unit comes with a full warranty and is in brand-new condition.
Tradeoffs at a glance
- Price: The ex-display is USD 318.19, the new is USD 288.09. The ex-display is cheaper than the catalog price but more expensive than the new unit.
- Condition: New is pristine; ex-display may have cosmetic wear. Both are fully functional and predator-resistant.
- Warranty: New includes a full warranty; ex-display may have limited or no warranty. Check before buying. If warranty is critical, choose new.
